Drummer and percussionist Jacobus Thiele is from Braunschweig, Germany. He has played the drumset since the age of 11 in different styles, starting from rock and pop, until jazz became one of his main focuses at the age of 20. Since 2010 he studies world percussion at the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam with his main focus on Arabic percussion, Brazilian percussion and percussion set-up.
